Lent is a 40-day season of reflection and preparation before Easter. As Christians, we replicate Jesus’ sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days.
Often times Christians abnegate, or do something extra for God, during Lent. Rather than giving up Chocolate or Social Media, I’ve decided I’m going to actually use the tools that were put before me for the greater good. I’m not a writer. I also want to let it be known I have a very hard time sitting and finishing anything.
For the next 6 weeks, I’m dedicating “Lenten Letters” to help build the Kingdom of God. This will not only help my spiritual journey but possibly another person. So my Lenten promise begins here!
