Lent is a 40-day season of reflection and preparation before Easter. Christians replicate Jesus’ sacrifice and withdrawal into the desert for 40 days.
Often, Christians abnegate or do something extra for God during Lent. Rather than giving up Chocolate or Social Media, I’ve decided I will use the tools put before me for the greater good. I’m not a writer. I also want to let it be known that I have difficulty sitting and finishing anything.
For the next 6 weeks, I’m dedicating “Lenten Letters” to help build the Kingdom of God. This will not only help my spiritual journey but possibly another person. So, my Lenten promise begins here!
